Rising Debt Squeezes Seniors! Help Is Here! Credit Karma!

How do I get my credit report free?

Debt effects everyone, even the seniors in our lives and it can be devastating at this age.

Today, unfortunately, there is a number of seniors that are living on social security and a fixed income pension that are trying to deal with the ever rising cost of living.

Or worst, being a disabled senior without the ways or means to provide a supplementary income if needed. Compounding all of this is the rising cost of healthcare as we grow old.

As life throws these curve balls at us, we need a way to monitor and manage this while having the tools to make better and great decisions for our present and future.

Retirement is all about enjoying life and not worrying about how you are going to eat or pay your bills. Having money to explore the world or do whatever hobby that you have a passion for.

If you are treading in the debt pool, then life at this stage is very hard and frustrating. It can even have adverse effects on your health due to the level of personal stress it can evoke.

In the article, we will discuss what can cause a senior to get into debt, what are the tools available to help, and how to manage this stage of our lives without the worry of debt.

Seniors With Rising Debt!

There can be many reasons why an alarming number of seniors today find themselves in debt that seems to be unmanageable.

Many seniors in this stage of life have paid off their mortgages and car loans. However, other cost for them continues to rise.

As we grow older, more frequent visits to the doctor may be required (more visits to specialist doctors) or we may find ourselves with living assistance needs.

Unfortunately at this stage in life, many will find themselves without the possibility to make extra income to help cover these expenses; and they have to turn to lenders to help with the extra costs.

Many seniors have not included the cost of rising healthcare in their retirement calculations.

Fortunately, there is plenty of help for you to go find and plenty of helpful tools to help you manage these areas of your life. These tools will let you keep up to date with your credit score, give you the tools to manage it, and help you find the assistance if you need it.

  1. I have a Credit Karma account. I love it just to keep track of my credit and make sure no one is taking advantage of mine 🙂 It has a lot of helpful tools for sure. I think that anyone who cares about their credit score, their debt, and having options, should use Credit Karma.

    1. You are right to stay informed about not only your credit, but the tools that can help you plan and be proactive. Credit Karma is a great tool and very secure.

My goal is to help seniors and others to understand that they are not alone. There is great help available today if you just look. It is unfortunate today as many of our seniors are not as prepared as they should be as you can see in this article.

This is why I have combined my retirement niche with my promotions of WA.

      Thanks for the comments.
